I used to mow lawns and throw newspapers when I was an early teen. You can probably find a neighbor or two that would pay you for lawn and/or garden care. You can also check with your high school counselor on jobs that might be available to you. A high school counselor might be able to direct you to prospective employers in your area.

To my knowledge, to work legally in CA, you have to be 15 and one half and have a work permit. Even then you are limited to how many hours and how late you are legally allowed to work. Check with you're school's guidance counselor for the permit and job openings. See if there are intern-type positions in your area. Other than the fast food venues, just have to pound the pavement.

Hi, a friend of mine has struggled for years to find the right program to lose weight. She has had particular problem with the stomach, back and thighs. She has tried different pill cures, but without any goodresult. Then she came across this program in October on the net, and things have changed. Not only has she lost weight, but she has a more muscular body.They give good advice about diet and how to eat also. I do not know if this is good answer to your problems, but see for yourself, and good luck!

It's an oxymoron... "under the table work" is never legit. - if you and the boss are willing to cheat the tax man, what else are you willing to cheat on?

About What is a good place to work in Long Beach California
What is a good place to work in Long Beach California?
I'm 20 and I just moved out to Long Beach, Ca and i was wondering where I should work. I already work fulltime but im looking for something else. Preferably something that pays more than min. wage. I need to buy a few things for my apartment and i need to bring in some extra cash. Any ideas?

The answer to your question is that the possiblities in Long Beach are endless. It is a very large metropolitan city. As a twenty-year old, I'm assuming your experience is limited. I would suggest working at some of the more popular restaurants if you have waiting experience. There are a lot of tips to be made at places like the Yardhouse, PF Chang's, and Cafe Sevilla, especially on the weekends. Good luck!

go to Down town at the "Pike" its a street and also an area there are alot of shops and bars restaurants coffee houses that are looking for applicants i hope your studding medicine or something cause medical is the only field that is expanding in LA everything else is closing something to think about if your looking for a career later in life

Run an eBay business. (Buy and sell for more) (ex: buy $35 Nikes that would cost $80 at a marshalls and sell it for $60-70 on eBay)
