Looking for a beach wedding thats handicap accessible?
I  have my heart set on a beach wedding.  I am from Kentucky so any beach  will work as long as its not too far (NC, SC or northern FL).  The  problem is, is my brother is in a wheelchair and its very important to  me that he is comfortable.  I am thinking a deck, concrete area with  beach veiw, or a peir of some sort.  I am getting married in June.   PLEASE HELP

I  am not sure if it's wheelchair accessable but this might be a good  spot, it's by cliff walk in Newport Rhodes Island. THe view from cliff  walk is beautiful. Hi! I've  got your beach for you. Marconi Beach at the Cape Cod National Seashore  in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.  Not the beach itself but the platform above the Marconi station site :  "enhances this view, and offers vistas southward to Eastham, and  northward to Truro."  It's located in the same parking lot as the  Atlantic White Cedar Swamp trail (again, not at the beach itself) and is  accessible. It's an amazing view-I'd know, I was married there! You  just need to get a crazy cheap permit from the Park Service-call them  about this.    Congratulations! Large print  versions of official park publications, and the Buttonbush Trail are  available for people with impaired vision. Park films have captions and  audio descriptions. Coast Guard and Herring Cove beaches provide  accessible parking, restrooms, changing facilities, and beach  wheelchairs. Herring Cove Beach features showers that accommodate  wheelchairs.  The Salt Pond Visitor Center is accessible to people using wheelchairs.  The Province Lands Visitor Center is accessible via a moderately steep  ramp way. Various overlooks throughout the park are suited for  wheelchair access.   Ask at visitor centers for a brochure describing accessible features.
