How can I get a clerical job working for the Ports in Long Beach, CA?
I know anybody that works on/with the Ports in Long Beach make good money. How and/or where do I go to apply?

The clerks that are threatening to go on strike right now (and are in the news right now) work for the ILWU (International Longshore Workers Union). In order to get a job with the port of Los Angeles, in Long Beach you must apply with the union first and be accepted as a member and start paying dues. Then you must wait for a job opening to become available. Check the web site for the ILWU and see what information they can give you from there.
